How I Prepare a Design for WordPress Development

I use WordPress for a variety of projects. I have to say that I have a love-hate relationship with it for many reasons. I'll save those for another time but for the most part, it's a great content management system that gets the job done. My WordPress development and workflow has evolved in the past couple of years.
