How to Design and Code a Product Landing Page – Part 6

"How to Design and Code a Product Landing Page – Part 6" is here! Watch me as I continue on setting up our theme in preparations for development.

I do a lot of "prep" work to make my life easier as I'm coding. This prep work involves creating mixins, variables, adding font libraries and more.

In this video, I do my best to optimize my general workflow by using my own tried and true techniques. An example of this is how I create some snippets in Sublime Text that are essentially Sass mixins.

These snippets are used as breakpoints when I'm styling a theme and trying to target a mobile or tablet device. These also come in handy on really large screens as well. Small optimizations like this greatly increase my speed when developing a new site.

Each new site I create I find new ways to enhance the way I do my work. It's definitely worth the fuss to figure out the same in your own workflow if you find yourself repeating a lot of tasks, keystrokes, and even file generation.
